Scangauge with Blendmount
Has anyone used the Scangauge mounted to the rearview mirror stalk with the Blendmount? I'm curious how much room you need. I have the sunroof in mine, the lower roofline combined with the pod for the maplights and sunroof controls leaves me concerned that I don't have the room for it. I like the idea of mounting it there but want to see if anyone else tried it before ordering.
Thanks in advance, |

There are a few folks using it:

Thanks for the link, some good info there. Unfortunately it still doesn't address my main concern, that being is there enough clearance above the mirror in trucks with the sunroof option?

I just stepped out to look at the clearance on my 04 with sunroof.
I wouldn't hesitate to mount one up there if I decided to. Here is a better picture of the blendmount with the Scangauge: Scanguage II install (Long, Pictures) - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums My overhead drops lower than his and still there is enough room for one on mine. |

Here, I went out and held my SGII above my mirror.

Thanks for the photo. That's good enough to convince me. I guess I didn't realize just how compact that gauge really is. I'm ordering mine today.

You need to go there and register, which is free, and scroll down the page on the left side to find the group buy. |

Of course, then comes the entering of Xgauges, which are not hard to do, just follow the manual.

You'll be happy with it, I like the SGII mounted above the mirror.
