what brand thermostat?

Sorry i've tried the search but this topic is usually has a ton of other stuff in the treads...which brand thermostat to buy? i just replace it not to long ago, but the new one will not go over 182...I want to get back up to 192...Am i making this out to be harder than it is? i've read you can buy the same brand and one will be higher than the one before...theres a guy on these forums that sells em...after i contacted em hes just way to pushy for my liking...thanks...Hoogie

Motorcraft, be done with it, it's cheap. 190°

Yes Motorcraft, diesels need to run above 195 for best milage & performance.
Paid $23 for mine from a freind that works at dealer ship.
Some dealerships also give discounts to clubs, can't hurt to ask.

thanks...will get one..an ya i know there cheep, other wise i wouldnt be replacing one thats less than a month old...lol hoogie
