Finished the head stud install with new injectors and blew out injector snap ring!

well i had the arp head studs installed along with 8 new ford injectors and every other upgrade suggested for my 05' 6.0. well the truck ran fine for about 1500 miles then i was passing someone and when i went to accelerate the truck just died. i had it towed to my mechanic and it turns out one of the snap rings on an injector broke and blew out the o-ring and everything else! has anyone else had this happen? i just spent a ton of money getting everything fixed on this truck so i hopefully would not have any problems and i only made it 1500 miles. now the problem is finding the snap ring because so far all my mechanic could find is half of it. also i'm gonna have to try and get the dealership i bought the injector from to pay for this, which i know they won't want to. i really don't want to sell this thing but i can't keep throwing money at it!

That sucks to hear.. I know what you mean tho. When you drop a crap load of money to bullerproof it and then something like this happens it must make ya kinda angry. I would fix it again and give her another shot.. Keep all the fluids clean and I bet you will be good.
