I Agree ![]() They use several people and are very Honest and Up front with ya' I bought my LiveWire from them and got tunes from "Eric @ Innovative Diesel" Through Larrry @ DiscountPowerParts.com. PS: I have been running the Extreme/Race from Innovative all DAY every DAY, and since purchased I have not been beaten by anybody as of the 6-7 months I have had their Extreme/Race Tune Installed. Through Larry or Pat at DiscountPowerParts.com they get Innovative to custom tune your SCT. The X-cal or the LiveWire both come from SCT with a MAX Hp tune of 120 HP , While the Custom Tune from "Eric @ Innovative" is an additional 160HP based on custom tuning for your truck and the mods you have already made. DPP, Larry or Pat can tell you the other tunes available from the Guys at Innovative, I know they also have an economy, a Tow, and a Extreme/Street. The Main thing I like the most about Innovatives Tunes is that when you use the Rule" 100*F on your Pyro per 10MPH" they are either just under or "Spot ON" . Ex. I run at about 80 MPH on the freeway on commute to work and my 6.0L usually will run , while at 80mph , between 700*F to 800*F , which is usally colder than normal standards. When running the considerable amount of mileage my commute requires to and from work (120) each way. Having a Bad Arse Tune, that can run and it's colder than other tuners ,Tune's. Other Tuner's set up their Hottest (Baddest) Tunes as if they are set up for 1/4 mile runs ONLY. I have found Innovatives "Extreme/Race 160hp" is good and safe for All Around driving conditions except , maybe towing more than 1500lbs. Either way make sure you have a properly located and installed EGT/Pyrometer and a Good Independent Tranny Temp Gauge, and you should be fine..... |

that 100 rule is kind of interesting, and i've noticed myself that it usually holds true, and the boost is usually on par also..
like when cruising down the hiway, i will usually see about 800* at 8psi, when i'm at 10psi i usually see 1000* are you referring to "canned" tunes only when you say the XCALII good for a max of 120HP? because i know i'm making more than that. and Logan has put down 440HP at the dyno with an sct and a straight pipe |

I have run tunes from both Matt at Spartan and Eric at Innovative and both do great work. Matt is here in North Carolina.
