seems like there are two viewing ports on my transmission arent these supposed to be covered? Ive been all over the ford site and cant find any part numbers. see pics, cant be good driving around with these open....

They are there so that you can gain access to the TC to drain it while changing trans fluid. Most vehicles have little rubber bushing/caps that go in them, the caps are dust covers. Idk if our trucks are supposed to have them or not. My truck doesn't.

you have both the holes open like that? I cant remember if my last 250 had the covers but I really think they did. I will buy some if i can find some part numbers

Wait no, I'm sorry. I just went and looked. My stock trans was like yours, my new bts trans has the dust covers in there. Could not see a part number though.
