Unhappy Turbo upgrade HELP

I don't know much about all these different turbos out there and what they do. I was just told by my mechanic that my turbo bearing is crapping out. I wanted to go with a bigger turbo but don't know which would be the best for me.
I have a 06 with EGR delete, cold air intake, 4" straight pipe, and stock injectors. I don't have a tuner but plan on getting a innovative tune. I don't pull nothing but my 21' boat.
Should i go with a pmax stage 1 or 2, or is there a better turbo out there?
I would like more MPGs and power of course. Please give me your input on what you know is a better turbo
Thanks

What you need to do is give adrian a call Mad Turbo Werks! I would guess you would be very happy with a MTW stage 1!! You wont find a better turbo or better customer service.

Check out madturbowerks.com call and talk to Adrian he knows just about all there is to know about pros and cons of different turbos and wont sell you something you dont need. My stage one will be here this week it is actually his least expensive one and all that i needed according to him. Very honest and informative guy spent an hour on the phone with me giving me an education at 11:00pm

Powermax without tuning isn't the best choice but is a brand new turbo. MTW needs tuning as well and is a rebuilt core. Last I recall MTW has changed direction no longer are they made off LLY or LBZ turbos.

Adding MPGs is difficult enough for these trucks. I recommend PHP FICM tuning and synthetic oil for better MPGs.

I vote for the hybrid, room to grow plus I think after the vgt relearn it would run pretty good with the stock tune

the powermax with a batmo is a nice replacement turbo if your staying with stock injectors or 155s
