egr delete

hey guys, how would someone determine weather they have a blown egr cooler or blown head gaskets. the coolant tank is swelling a bit and theres some coolant leaking around the cap from the pressure. i replaced the cap with a car quest one which may have been a waist of 9 bucks but it looked like it fixed the problem for a few days. there is no white smoke out of the exhaust whatsoever and the coolant level isnt dropping. factory studs and gaskets, gearhead srl and atlas 40, blue fuel spring and otherwise stock. i dont beat my truck either, almost never put the pedal to the floor and other the some passing lanes and aggressive take offs it doesnt see the high side of 2200 rpm. thanks in advance for any replys.

Stick with OEM cap and fuel / oil filters.
