FICM Advise
So I've recently installed the Dashboss Monitoring Kit in my truck and learned the FICM needs to be replaced. Its running between 33-48 volts erratically. Im interested in the BPD FICM. Im not sure if I should go with the 4 phase or 6 phase unit. What are the advantages of the 200.00 higher 6 phase unit over 4 phase?

They allow you to run higher voltages if you so desire and there are redundant circuits for reliability. Call BPD and they are very good at explaining the advantages and dis advantages of the two. I just purchased the 6ph and have not yet got it installed

no reason to run high voltages......this WAS a fix for problematic fcim, the real fix is better heatsinks, and circuit boards.....
