2008 trans pan/magnet ?

I am about to put my pan on,I received 3 additonal magnets besides the one on the drain plug.Where do the other magnets go on the inside or outside and what is the best locations? Thanks,Robert

Not sure what additional magnets you are referring to. I did the 08 pan swap about a month ago and the only magnet I received was the one pre-installed around the drain plug

I received 3 additional magnets with my pan,so I thought they might go some other places too.

FWIW, my 04 only has one magnet.

Sounds like somewhere out there, are 3 pans with no magnets!

Magnets will usually sit in a recess or on a dimple.

check for clearence, and add wherever they fit, i have alwways added a smalll magnet. it helps attract particles.
