Coolant flush questions...
I recently hooked up my PHP Gryphon FICM tuner. I didn't program a tune yet, because I wanted to get some baselines on my truck's PID readings first. Anyway, I took 'er for a spin today to check out EGT's, EOT, and ECT. My ECT's and EOT's were roughly withing a 15* delta of each other on flat ground at 55mph.
So, with that info, I can only assume that my oil cooler is becoming plugged. If I were to do a full "highway drive" distilled water/restore/restore plus flush, would I be heavily risking plugging my oil cooler even more because of deposits elsewhere in the engine migrating to the oil cooler? While i know it's going to be time to change the oil cooler soon, I'm simply not in position to do that right now....but I need to tow my 10,000 lb RV about 1000 miles two weeks from now. Any advice and info would be greatly appreciated.

And, of course... Not long after posting this thread, I find another thread on the same topic.

Yah, the search option helps lots sometimes but depends on how well you chose your search words.
