EGR Question
I have looked at different threads and they say unplugging the egr can help with spool time and that is about it. IMO I couldnt really tell a difference, I did notice that I had zero black smoke. I have no programmer and lately I have noticed more black smoke (with egr plugged in) and when I unplugged the egr all that went away. Is that just telling me my egr is pretty dirty? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Plug the valve back in and delete or turn off the valve operation the right way, with a SCT tuner.
Depending on what ECM strategy you have, unplugging the EGR valve may cause fan or VGT operating issues. |
