ZF6 manual to 5r110 auto trans swap!

Ok I've got an 05 f350 6.0 zF6 manual factory truck, I liked the 6 speed at first and really don't mind it but I do a lot of in town cruising and honestly wish I had an auto again, i would like to push snow with this truck but don't bother with the man trans and my wife can't drive it (which isn't a bad thing) and she has no desire to learn, I've tried! Really though I would like her to have the option to drive it if she needs to especially in the winter as I have precious cargo in the back seat and another on the way!

Anyways I've got a complete running 03 2wd 6.0 auto here and think I might attempt the swap, I should have everything I need to do this and make it look factory... (to an extent) I know the tail shaft can be removed from the 2wd and the t- case shaft splines won't line up, and the instrament cluster may need replaced to be proper, other than that what am I missing???

Btw I would sell the zf as a complete kit! Anyone interested?

if you were closer I would be interested I have been wanting a 6 speed in mine since I got it but it was never an option for my truck.

My truck was a special edition truck that rolled off the assembly line originally as a harley edition before going to tuscany trucks for their package. I don't know for sure but I don't think any of the harley editions came with a 6 speed in them I think only the xlt's did?? Maybe someone will chime in and give us the run down.

Mine is a factory XLT, I hadn't ever seen them then my buddy bought an 08 6.4 lariat that has a ZF6, I figured it was special order, I know auto is "standard" but don't know about special edition trucks.

Yeah I don't know what all trucks they were even offered as an option. I thought it was only the xlt.

What's the mileage on your 2005 with the manual trans?
I would love to have a manual in my 06 F-450
