Thanks.
I just wanted to say thanks to the forum for having a well documented and fairly easy to understand sticky section. I started over on another forum and it was pretty hard to decipher what direction I should head first. I read through most of the 6.0 stickies here and had all of the immediate concerns answered in more or less one spot.
Based on your inputs I went out and picked up a ScanguageII so I could do some basic monitoring while driving. I'm happy to report that my EOT and ECT temps are 6-8 degrees apart and well inside the operating ranges listed. Now I can plan a flush and hopefully prolong the life of my oil cooler until I can afford to buy the BPD unit without it being a crisis. Thanks Again. |

How many miles on your rig? Sometimes a flush can clog your oil cooler. I'd run a coolant filter for awhile before flushing
