Open circuit on your ECT sensor, IIRC

so how do i fx this?
Check the wiring and make sure there is no damage and if not, replace the sensor.

Ok i checked the voltage coming out the sensor and it was reading 0. Wiggled it a lil bit and went up to 5 volts. I couldnt find a short or nothing. Any ideas?

Do i have a bad sensor? Or is there a short? If so do they sell the entire wire from pcm

An open circuit is different than a short.
Check continuity of your wiring or just replace the sensor. The ECT is cheap. Also, the EOT sensor is the same sensor - you can swap them as a test. |

How do i check the continuity? What do i put the volt meter it?
