Now I've seen members do this before, play around with their SCT on a weekend. Then by dumb luck, they have issues with loading tunes or worst, no start. So now they end up with a truck that don't start, and SCT is closed for the weekend. I know your excited to try out your custom tunes, just be sure you understand that if there is a issue, the forums can only do so much. Now for your question, it's recommended to return to stock when ever you switch tunes, BUT most of us don't. We just jump from one tune to another. You need to decide if the reward is worth the risk. I personally don't return to stock when switching tunes. |

when swapping or tweaking from same mfg tune to tune (like Gearhead to Gearhead) I don't return to stock (way faster)
but any swaps between tune writers Matt /Eric or canned I do go back to stock .. just like mentioned .. to play it safe I have seen to many (stranded threads ) on roaddtrips I bring my laptop/stock file and SCT along with My A/E LOL |

Ok so set it up on street tune then hook scanner back to my computer and save my stock tune. I was my worried about blowing HG. I wasn't looking for more power just getting CEL off.
