Insurance on these beasts

Any of you guys notice how high your insurance is on these beasts? I about flipped. Whats wierd is I have a buddy who just purchased a Dodge deisel 1 Ton. His insurance is pretty reasonable but asked his agent to compare with an F250. If he would have bought a 250 his insurance would have been through the roof too. He has a different insurance company than me. I also talked to the guy that I bought it from and his was about the same as mine.

BTW: I'm 49, with no underaged drivers and have a very very minimal claim record with my insurance that I've had for 33 years. No tickets either.

They rank pretty high on the top theft list, insurance in some areas is pretty expensive

Mines not to bad but it is an 02 7.3 I'm 30 with full coverage and a total loss roll over 4 years ago. $71 a month but I do live in Idaho. I'm sure it depends on where you live.

I have a completely custom full coverage policy for my truck and I'm only 26 and my wife is only 23 and our premium with a $500 deductible, and all kinds of other goodies is only $80 a month. We also have 2 other vehicles on the policy one full coverage and the other is liability with uninsured motorist total loss coverage and the whole thing is only $160 a month.

Granted mine is a 2000, but I just bought a 2004 3500 Dually Dodge (That I hate BTW) and insurance was a bit more on the Dodge. I think mine breaks down to about $50 a month and I have great coverage, low deductible and with a name brand company. No complaints here. Still cheaper to insure than my wife's Honda.

56 years old, full coverage on my '04 F-250, $400 a year on the truck, same as my '04 Corvette. My 2010 4cyl Fusion is the most expensive at $750 a year, go figure!

I'm 24 with full coverage and a 0$ deductible and I think mine is only about 90. I have 3 vehicles and a boat and only pay 163

I have full covereage for both of our vehicles (2002 F350 CCSB and 2007 Ford Edge SEL) and I the premium is about $123 a month. I'm 25, my wife is 27. $100 deductible.
