chevy question

I use this forum for my 97 7.3 which I love but lets face it ..almost 400k miles time to start looking for a back up truck just incase. I have a few questions about a 99 chevy dually extended cab with the 6.5L diesel. It has 101k..new fuel induction pump, gas tank, sending unit, all new fuel lines. Automatic tranny. Where these engines known to be good? or problamatic? Im going to look at it tommorow any tips would be apprecaited. Thanks guys.

He's working his way up.

I'd say give the 6.6 a try, then he's got all of the bases covered.
