will bad batteries cause a hot no start?
I ran my truck for 20 minutes to home depot the truck started fine before I left. Went in the store for half hour went to start and all it did was crank and not start. Had it towed home and still just cranked and I thought it turned over fine. I tried later when it cooled off but still didn't start and the batteries died so I charged them. Next morning I tried to start it and it started like usual. I just installed a cts and not running I only have 11.6V so I think bad batteries what do you guys think? Will it still crank good and not start?

You need to charge and test your batteries first. Search "hard hot restart" for the 6.0 and you will find plenty. It too is a common problem.

HPO leak is my first guess. Check your FICM too, you may have smoked it while cranking the truck for that long and running the batteries down

Lots of things could cause a no start condition. Weak batteries is one of them. Here is some reading material for you.
