Belt squeal with A/C on

I tried searching here and using google, but came up with only people with similar problems but no answers. My issue is that at both idle and accelerating, my truck will make a loud squeal if the a/c is on. It won't happen all the time, but it is very much louder when accelerating. The belt looks to be in good shape and i'm doubting it being the issue. The compressor also seems to spin just fine when on or off. Could the clutch be the issue? Also, i checked the freon in the system and it's in at a good level.

This issue started driving during a rainy day, but those seem to be the only days i use the a/c unless the girlfriend is in the truck and doesn't want to ruin her hair. But now the truck seems to do it whenever the a/c is on.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Same problem here. I've replaced to tensioner and belt and it got better. I'm almost positive it's the idler pulley now. Next on my to do list.

I was leaning towards the tensioner as the issue. Is it just the extra drag caused by the a/c being on that makes it squeal since its fine when the a/c is off?
