Egt probe
I put my egt probe in the down pipe near turbo after turbo....... Guess it dosent do much good there I saw that they go in the manifold. Is it going to be way off should I move it or it'll be close enough to read it still?

There is nothing wrong with a post-turbo thermocouple. Just be careful making comparisons to others who use the manifold as the site for a thermocouple. Nothing will be "way off" about the temperatures from the site you've selected...they will be lower ordinarily. You will want to get figures for comparison from people who have the same site selected...not those with a pre-turbo thermocouple.

I run a EGT probe in both locations. At idle the post turbo reading is 50* lower than pre-turbo reading. Normal driving, the post turbo reading is 100* lower. At WOT, the post turbo reading never goes over 1100*, while the pre-turbo reading hits 1400*.
