Banks equipement is very overpriced for what you get. And for their tuning, its junk on the 5R110 transmissions.

What's been done to the truck already, do you have a monitor?
What are looking for performance wise? There are plenty of resourses here to help:

Monitoring (aids in the prevention of issues):
Write Up: Monitoring the 6.0L PSD.
Bullet-Proofing (to address the known 6.0L weaknesses before adding power):
Write Up: Bullet-Proofing the 6.0L PSD.
(Note: this does not all have to be done at once)

Performance:
Write Up: Power Potential of the 6.0L PSD

We'd be happy to help you achieve more reliable power than the Big Hoss bundle will provide, and do so cheaper.

Banks does not get a lot of respect around here or anywhere in diesel performance really. I have their intercooler, and that is the only part of theirs that I like. You can get more power than what the Big Hoss will give you with a Monitor, like the Edge Insight, exhaust, and an SCT with a custom tune. And, it will be way better for your headgaskets and transmission.

I would go purchase an Insight CTS and SCT X3 programmer. Make sure to do as much preventative maintenance as possible, using the links Ben provided. I would look at getting a turbo back exhaust eventually, but make sure the truck is healthy first. Where is Raul when yyou need him, he usually has good deals on CTS and X3 combos.

Hate to break it to you, but without studs, I think the duraturds are still gonna be faster, unless they are stock of course

Sinister Diesel has the cts/sf3 combo for 749. Whats the major difference between the sf and x3?

SF3 - holds 3 canned files, along with custom tuning

X3 - only holds custom files.

Depends what you want really. Once you get a custom tune you will never run a canned tune so having them is kind of pointless. However the SF3 will have a little higher resale to it due to having the canned tunes. I only got an SF3 cause it was the first thing I saw in the For Sale section on here when I was shopping for a programmer.
