What % is it supposed to be at idle?

Ford's values for VGT%
Engine hot: KOEO=0 Low Idle=73 High idle=43 High idle for this is 2500 rpm Operating Range=0-100 % I did a "poll" on this topic on another forum. Interesting discussion on VGT% http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/11...-hot-idle.html I didn't go low enough for a lot of voters, as I found out. Mine was pegging 85%. Even with a new turbo. Now, with some time on the new turbo, my VGT% is running about 76%. Never could get it figured out as to what causes the 85%, or what to change. |

high idle when engine cold mine will hit 85% for a little bit and then calm down back to the 70-75%.
normal driving is between 40-60% |
