Need some help

Ok guys, my MPG has been dropping really fast and i cant figure out why. 2 weeks ago im getting 10 to almost 11 around town and the last 2 days its gone down to around 7.5 mpg. Im wondering if i have a caliper sticking or something. When i get off work im going to jack the back wheels up and see if they spin freely. I did adjust the emergency brake on the left rear wheel by spinning the little dial with a screwdriver but not sure if that has done it. I have also noticed my tranny seems to shift a little rough from 2nd to 3rd gear latley too. What in the hell is going on with this truck .

FICM could be checking out or have you pulled your EGR to see if its stuck or wet?
