mechanical water temp gauge

Does anyone know where I could put in a Mechanical water temp gauge in a 6.0 I would like to put it right in the head. Are there are any plugs in the head I can take out? Any info would be appreciated.

There is a port on the driver's side rear of the block. An adapter is required from Autometer ( part # 2268) to go from the M16x1.5 to 1/8"NPT
