advise/??

So here is my situation, i currently drive a 2011 f150 fx4 w/ 6"lift n 35s. My dads old 03 f250 went out on him few months ago. He has replaced the hpop, gaskets and some injectors. I think the last thing he needs to do is a ficm repair to get it running. He also ended up getting a 7.3 which now hes has no use for the 6.0 and he offered it to me for 7k. Should i take him up on the offer and complete the bullet proofing, current mileage is around 150k? Once that is done i would sell my f150 and have no payments. Has anyone gone from a new truck to an older model f250 and had any regrets? I dont tow, i just like having a big bad a** truck

Sounds like a good deal to me. Its well worth 7 if the only thing wrong with it now is the FICM. What do you mean by complete the bullet proofing? Just replacing those parts with new part is not concidered bullet proofing. Just so you know. Welcome to the Org glad your here.
