05 to 04 Bumper swap

I've seen it done the other way, 04 to 05 swap, but I was wondering if I could get the 04 bumper on my 05. Reason for doing so is that the previous owner dented the bumper in one corner and messed up the plastic cover on top of the bumper. I'd really rather just have all metal up there. I know that I may have to change brackets on the sides or fabricate new ones but I'm curious if anyone knows if it will just bolt up in the front. That's half the battle, the sides should be easy to do.

Thanks

Fred

If the 05 won't bolt right up to my 04 I doubt the 04 would bolt right up the 05.

You'd have to do a whoe front facia swap. It can be done, there is guy around here who did it with an 06 I believe, but I haven't seen him in a while.

Thanks all for the input. Seems like it's not worth the effort right now. Aside from replacing the bumper and the plastic upper panel, is there something out there that might cover them or replace the both of them?

Thanks

Fred
