thinking about a 6.0

2004 Ford F-350 King Ranch diesel found this and wonder how much you guys think it would need or how much you guys think i should offer if i do even consider it.

2001 f250 lariat 7.3 3.73 rear end 4" exaust with muffler-5"tip eagle alloy rims with 305/70 firesteone at, superchips programmer

2002 dodge durango slt+ 4.7v8 flowmaster super 10, intake, ho cams ,superchips programmer, trying to trade it for a diesel

Shoot just buy it and get everything done to it (studs, egr delete, warren diesel injectors, stc fitting, etc.) You will have a sick truck for cheap Worst case you buy a crate motor and swap it in. With 270k on it though there might need to be more maintenance done as well as a trans some day. You could go BTS for that though and it would be awesome.

Don't discredit this 6.0 it's a beast of an engine. Yeah it has it's quirks but they all do, this engine got it's bad name due to the influx of new diesel owners during it's run. Ford sold a f'ing ton of these trucks and with new uneducated owners came new problems. We all know by now what it takes to bullet proof em so get that puppy she'll serve ya well with a lil work.

i would love to get a 6.0 just trying to find a good deal that needs work or a really good one cheap but i still have to get rid of my durango
