Service intervals

i know there has got to be a thread already on this, but i can not find it.

would it be recommended for me to change my oil filter with every oil change? or will every other suffice?

secondly, should i change my primary and secondary fuel filters every other oil change or every time i change the oil?

thank you gentlemen.

I dont want to speak for everyone else on this but I change my oil filter with every oil change. To be safe with my sensitive 6.0 I change my oil and filter every 3000 miles (when not towing). I usually do my fuel filters every 12,000 miles.

I change my oil and oil filter every 5,000 miles. I do the fuel filters every other oil change just to be safe.

this is kinda the gist of what i have been able to research. i pull a tandem axle with load weighing approx 8000lbs probably twice a month, other than that i drive just a couple miles to work then back home..

what i am getting at is that i dont work the truck, motor hard. unless i happen to pull up beside an import car at the light. (on a closed street with full safety gear)

I never tow and very rarely haul anything with my truck. I drive it 12 miles to work every few days where it will sit for up to 4 days. My point being, i'm not very hard on my truck either but I love fresh fluids and filters.
