f550 4.88 gearing

ihi all, i have a 2004 ford f550 2wd with a pickup bed on it. I bought back in october.
i have a question about changing the gearing in the rear end, i have 4.88 in it right now, but would like to drop it to get a little better gas mileage, what would be everyones opinion? i don't haul alot except for my 23' enclosed trailer for my quads....i know big truck for little trailer, buy for the price i couldn't turn it down....it had 65,000 miles and paided only $20,000 for it.

It already has an egr delete kit(sinister diesel), edge evo ht tuner, two new batteries, 190 amp alternator, soon to have 5" turbo back exhaust, and AEM brute force air intake....

I have 4.30 gears in my '06 F-450, it runs about 2100 rpm at 65 mph, that is about perfect for towing.
