Slow Start (at the dealer Day 1)
So, i finally got my truck to the dealer for the slow start issue. I had the batteries tested and they were good before i took it in there. They checked over everything electrical that they could check like injectors exc... They said they got no codes and everything checked out and was fine.
Now, does anyone have any sugesstions i could ask them about? My dealer basically said don't waste your money, the truck runs fine and we can't find any codes. See what happens down the road and maybe someting will show up then. The truck used to start in 1 or 2 seconds. Now it takes 5 or 6 to start up and sometimes a little longer. it just seems to me that it's cranking to long before it fires. Any ideas? |

Watch your oil pressure! Does it crank when the needle pops up on the oil pressure gauge? Or does the needle pop up and it still takes a bit to crank?

you might have a o-ring on a stand pipe or dummy plug starting to go.
