6.0 next upgrade?
2003 6.0 king ranch
Following mods- sct chip (waiting for a custom tune) cold air intake , mbrp 4inch exhaust 5inch tip Following fixes- new egr cooler, new high pressure oil pump What should I do next? I've heard get the edge cts which I'm about to Order but then what? Also what's a good Place to get these custom tunes? And any other advice is welcome... On the oilfield so I have extra cash to send

talk to gearhead automotive and get there srl tune. Its a great tune for non studded trucks. Your post catches alot of businesses in the aspect of a money maker.. Just do the basics, edge insight cs monitor, sct with a custom tune and only custom tune because the canned tunes on programmers suck and WILL mess the truck up, if you insist on spending money on egr, delete the whole entire friggin thing and do it right(i deleted mine when i had problems)- also replace the oil cooler and put the updated mesh screen in there. Next do a blue spring kit to prolong the injectors and please please change the fuel filters everytime you do a oil change 5,000 miles(i do 3,000 miles due to the fact my truck sits alot) Dont worry about studs or anything like that, wait til you have problems. Enjoy the truck i love mine

Blue spring upgrade was put out by Ford
Get it here: Riffraff Diesel: Ford Fuel Pressure Regulator Blue Spring Kit Coolant filter is pretty much a must. Helps keep the system clean of debris. So it's settled I'm getting edge cts then sinister coolant filter also blue spring fpr then after getting high ideal mod then the scr tuner custom... Already have cold air intake 4 inch full exhaust and sct chip any ideas after some

I put these in my 04 KR
![]() Got the switches at the local auto parts store. They were on a board on the counter. Found them again on this website : Switches || Toggle and Rocker Switches || Keep It Clean Wiring they are rated for 25 amps. I also have, from steering column to door: High idle heated mirrors reverse lights The last one has yet to be determined. |

The best mods I've made was an sct with a custom tune and straight pipe exhaust and edge cts . And with the tune u can always shut off the egr till inspection time. Send the air filter back tho. You'll dust the turbo and the stock filter flows just as well if not better. Also start focusing on flushing the coolant and bypass filtration.

Money burning a hole in your pocket? You can upgrade your turbo, fuel system, brakes...there are endless upgrades. It all depends on what outcome your looking for. Does your truck have ARP's?
