A helpful note when doing head gaskets cab on

Some may know this and done this but for those that haven't well this is a added step but helps when torquing the heads down. Just remove the spacer between the block and the frame motor mount. This allows you to raise or lower the motor enough to get a even a large heavy duty torque wrench on. there are 3-4 bolts on the block and 4 bolts on the motor mount side. For best results use a 13mm ratcheting closed end wrench. also when reinstalling install the 4 bolts in the frame motor mount side and then the block side bolts. I did this and I didn't have to do anything to the heater or the driver side rear bolt area. Just use a jack and a piece of wood (treated 2/6 for me) on the driver side bell housing area on the block. just put the jack part way up and then cut the wood to fit that you can raise or lower it depending what side your working on. Again I just wanted to pass along what has worked for me.
