Crazy question about coolant
Well 5k ago I did a flush and added elc coolant. Also did a egr delete and new oil cooler and of course 5k down the road have 15 degree delta again. So now looking into the BPD oil cooler so I don't have to do it again. Now the question is do I have to go back with elc coolant or can I go back with green with sca in it. I also put a coolant filter in when I did the oil cooler and kept the filters change. I just know it will be cheaper with the green stuff then the red stuff. I know this truck is killing my wallet but I do like it when it's right and pulls the livestock trailer the best and I just like the truck. So any help with the new cooler and coolant will help just got to save up to do it.

I would NOT use green - you will have serious cavitation issues. Stick with ELC IMO - if you want to use ford gold or zerex g05 to cheap out a bit that is the least I would do, but it is NOMINAL cost difference to put ELC back in...
