New to the forum, who's from Baltimore DC area?

Hi,

I'm new to the board and was wondering who was from the Baltimore/DC area. And if there were any recommended shops for working on the 6.0 around. I just got an 05 Excursion two weeks ago. I have replaced the seized unison ring turbo and installed a coolant filter. Next step is to get a scanner that will display Engine Oil Temperature so I can assess the oil cooler health. It's running ok, but I feel like it's not up to full performance. No codes since the turbo replacement. EGR valve looks OK. Yea, I know injector controller voltage needs to be checked as well.

And for those of you in the area, would anyone be interested in getting together for a beer and BS sometime?

To the OP, I flew out to the DC area for a business trip and visited with Mitch. He's a GREAT guy and even paid for my dinner. We chatted for what seemed like a few hours and he's VERY knowledgeable about the 6.0's. He also will tell you like it is, so be prepared.

Me an my sisters were raised by a single working mom. She couldn't afford to send all of us to charm school. I got left out.

I'm in (Southern) Northern VA but the only place I know of around here is Adam over at Strokers Unlimited in Fredericksburg, VA. Bit of a drive for you though.
