tire size question

I've got a stock height 06 f-250 with stock 275-70-17's on it i am looking at getting new tires would i be able to fit 295-70-17's on it with no problems? Or could i go with a 16" wheel? theirs a set on ebay 295-75-16's bfg at's on AR teflon wheels that are pretty cheap and close to me, i just dont know if the 16" wheel will fit Thanks.

no the 16" wheels will not fit on the 04 and newer F Series Fords trucks but the 295's will fit on your 17" wheels that are on your truck with out a problem but in some cases they haved rubbed a little but nothing a leveling kit didn't take care of..hope this helps

Acually they came stock with 16's also. My 04 had them, The 295-70-17 will fit with out a problem. ran them on my 04 also. If you go anylarger you will need a leveling kit to prevent from rubbing.

By no means am i trying to make you look bad demaxin, just letting yall know.

Acually im not to sure buddy. I dont believe they will due to back spacing?

thats what i thought,i was just going off my head when i said 04 and newer but i know somewhere in the 04 and 05 they made the calibers bigger so the 16" wheels will not fit to my knowledge..

Now im talking stock wheels here. The 16s shouldnt fit for backspacing reasons. But an aftermarket wheel should fit with out a problem. I had a guy come into the shop a few days ago that had some chrome 16's on his 05 so there sholdnt be a reason why a aftermarket wheel shouldnt.

. didnt know they upgraded the breaks from 03-04 to 05-07
