1k mile trip and no problems!

Hey Guys,

Finally got my first powerstroke last weekend. My wife and I drove it up from Florida back to NJ. Its a 06 F250 with about 116k on it. The oil cooler and egr cooler were replaced at 95k. On the drive back with the ambient air temps ranging from 85-100 my deltas never got higher than 10. What are some other key components to check or do to prevent some of the "common problems"? My budget is kind of tight right now however, the truck is not showing any issues at the moment. I did notice alittle oil sitting on top of the intake near the intercooler pipe that goes into the intake. Any ideas? I was going to clean the EGR Valve. Any opinons would be helpful.

Might check that intercooler boot see if the oil is coming from it.
