HVAC issue

Hey guys, I hopped in the truck after work today and no matter what setting I put the AC on, it would only blow out of the defrost. No floor, no vents, turned AC off and on, turned truck off and on, nothing but defrost!

WTF could be causing that? and has anybody else had this issue? I don't think it's hot enough out to make anything stick, only about 95 today. It was hotter than that every day last week. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Thanks,
Cliff

A vacuum leak, or a bad vacuum pump. Not that uncommon. Do you have a 4x4?

Could be your hub seals. Disconnect and plug the two vacuum hoses that run down to your hubs, and see if the ac damper works correctly. That is assuming you have esof.

Also check the gray vacuum line near the oil fill tube. It some times gets bumped off either the inline heater hose valve or the nipple on front of the HVAC box.

That's what it was, thanks buddy! BTW, just changed the oil last night, didn't realize I even touched it!

EDIT: Thanks everybody!
