Powerstroke to the Rescue!

Just something I thought yall would enjoy. I got a phone call yesterday at about 11:20 in the AM from a co-worker. He said "Ben, I may need you in about 5 minutes....I'm looking at this mudhole in front me...". Needless to say, about 10 minutes later I was rolling up to this mudhole he had gotten his truck stuck in. I forgot to mention it was a 05 F-150 4x4 with regular street tires on it. Anyway, he only made it about 13 feet into the mudhole before he got stuck on a high center and pretty much suctioned into the mud. When I got there, his exhaust was 3/4 of the way under water, blowing bubbles. We tried with just my truck to get him out for about an hour, but no luck. So I called my buddy Aaron (greenf350) to help out. Long story short, 2 tow straps and 2 PowerStrokes later, we got him out. I'll post pics when I figure out how to...but we had to hook my truck up to the 150, then Aaron hooked his 350 up to my 250. I initiated the pulling, then Aaron started pulling as well. After about 20 minutes of that, we got him out.

Who would have thought someone would get stuck so bad that it would take an ol' 7.3L and a 6.0L to get them out!!! This is definately something I won't forget for a long time coming...lol

After seeing the pictures...I will say they don't really do that mudhole justice. I would have thought twice about who was around that could pull out a superduty before I would have flopped down into it. What possesed him to try with street tires (not just a good all terrain, but the factory junk ones) I will never know. I guess ya gotta have some fun.
