intercooler removal and cleaning

Im gonna tackle this IC soon, I've got 162k on the truck, and recently did the ccv mod. id like to try to clean out as much of the nastiness as possible. but before i just go ripping into in and taking the whole front end off the truck, i was hoping someone could post a link for me of the removal. and any good degreasers to use as well. thanks

When I cleaned my IC, I just used Dawn and water while leaving it in the Texas summer sun on concrete. If that's not hot, then
Simple Green, Purple Power, or any degreaser like that will work.

I was doing a coolant flush and thermo/thermo housing replacement. That turned into a water pump replacement. That turned into pulling the radiator to clean it's fins out. That turned into pulling the IC to do the same thing. So idk
It really wouldn't be bad now. 3-4 hrs maybe.
