Looking to Buy This 250.....Need Some Advice

Hey Y'all from Down in Alabam'

I am totally new to the Diesel ownership. I am LOOKING to buy a 2005 F-250 Lariat Crew Cab with the 6.0 Powerstroke. Are there any concerns that I need to be aware of, or look for? Also, I was reading where someone stated that they were running OLD injectors, however their truck only had 92,000 miles and about 3,000 engine hours. When are those recommended to be changed out? The truck I am looking at is a 2005 as stated above with 97,000 miles and 2,200 engine hours. It looks brand new inside and out. It come with a front chrome brush guard, warn winch, B&W hitch, low profile tool box, and the lariat package. I can post pictures if you need them, but didn't think it was necessary. I am supposed to go and look at it/buy it on Saturday; so some tips for bargaining purposes and "buyer beware" purposes will be VERY handy. Oh....and they are asking $22,700 for the truck.

I'm still looking for a truck but call a local ford dealer and tell them your close to them and are looking at a used truck and would like them to pull a "oasis" report for you. You need the VIN for them to do this. Also I have been looking for a month or two keep looking even though you are going to check it out Saturday something nicer and cheaper might show up who knows, don't rush it. That is one helluva nice looking truck though. There are stickies you can read and searches you can do on buying a new truck tons of info. Good luck

Edit: If you get it yank that K&N crap off I wouldn't put K&N on my 4cyl Ranger.

What is the OASIS Report going to tell me?? Is this report just for the Super Duties becuase I own a 2000 F-150 that I'd like to know more about.

It's the warranty history all the work that was done under warranty. It only goes back 10 years I think
