Just about traded it in
I was at Ford looking at the Eco boost trucks, and almost made Tue mistake of getting rid of me 03. I just did studs 1,500 miles ago. They are a great truck I'm still up in the air on this. Any opinions.

I am just a no0b, but think about ten years from now. what will your 03 PSD that you already invested in be worth, now what will the eco boost be worth (I assume you are talking about gasser). I see 95 PSD trucks that are still going for 8-10k for a real nice one. I see 02 F150's going for 5k no matter how nice. Just my humble opinion. keep your truck.good luck either way

The new ecoboosts are great trucks. They don't get great mileage towing. get pretty good mileage empty. expect around 19 on the highway. i would never trade my 03 on one.

If you tow heavy keep the diesel JMO

I do pull cars every once in a blue moon but I'm keeping it why get rid of the power for the same mileage with less power. Although those new Eco boosts have a bad a** interior and handle so well.

If you tow more than say 7K, you need to keep the Superduty.
I know Ford markets the EcoBoost for 11K properly configured, but the braking on those trucks, their frames, and IFS front ends, aren't going to hold up well with the work like the Superdutys have proven themselves to. |

Yeah i just got done studding and deleting it 1500 miles ago we decided to keep it but if i could afford it i would not hesitate to buy one of those. Probably the smoothest truck I have ever driven. And that fx4 looks beautiful compared to my 03 but it don't have that godly whistle LOL. And the superduty gets better mileage.

I'd keep the 6.0. The F-150 looks nice but I'd prefer the power and loud "crackle" noise of the 6.0.
