I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and I'm planning on doing an oil cooler, egr delete and coolant filter this weekend. I want to flush the system beforehand to avoid clogging the new oil cooler. I've called all the heavy truck dealers and parts stores in the area and all I can find is restore plus. Does anyone one know where I could buy restore,or if anyone in the area has some left over from doing a flush would you be willing to sell it. Sorry for the long winded post

Isn't vc-9 essentially the same as restore plus? I was able to purchase restore plus at the local Cummins dealer but still can't locate any restore, which worries me because there is a lot of silicate dropout in my system and I can't afford to put a new oil cooler in and have it fail right away. I'm seeing a 40 degree difference between the eot and ect

Yes Flick you are right. VC-9 is equivalent to Restore Plus and not Restore. You want to call the Cummins Central Parts Warehouse in Harrisburg, Pa. and have them ship you a gallon. I got mine the next day in Baltimore.

I ordered mine from the local Cummins store. Seems they only carry Restore Plus in stock.
