Front end noise
I had an exhaust issue that I got resolved, it was hitting a metal hanger near the spare tire. Another sound I started hearing this past weekend was a noise, feeling in the peddle that I couldn't pin point. I finally got my AE software back from my dad and I found the code P1812 4-wheel Drive Mode Select Circuit Failure. Which makes sense, I had narrowed it down to the front end.
Now, how to fix it, I'm not even sure where to start? |

Where is the 4 wheel drive control module?
I can hear the ESOF shift properly form 2wd to 4wd, then to 4wd low properly. I want to check the pins and reset the connectors. |

I'm sending this with my phone, let know if you can see it. It's a 42 page attachment of the ESOF.

Thanks for the document, that is similar to the one I have but yours seems newer. Unfortunantly it doesn't have the P1812 code in it. I'll do some more testing this evening.
Thanks, Rick |
