First sled pull - 1st place

Well I got brave enough to hook at the end of our local pull saturday night in the "stock" diesel class. There was only one other powerstroke, 4 duramax's and 2 cummins. Put it in 4 low and 3rd gear and let her rip. It went alot smoother than I expected and I stopped at 299ft. 11in. My buddy in his lmm duramax with delete's, efi live, transgo jr. and tie rod sleeves came the closest to me. Not bad for an engine that is supposedly such a pos. Oh did I mention I am on stock bolts and my egr system still functions

4 inch mbrp straight pipe, matts srl and php atlas 40 ficm tune. Engine is as stock as it gets right down to the egr system, stock headbolts and gold coolant!

Funny story....My Buddy with the Duramax was the closest with 287, but he was a little hurt that he couldn't take me so he payed another entry fee and pulled again at the end and made it 295. He got close, just couldn't quite get me!

LOL I doubt it......he is one of those "I would push a Chevy before I drive a Ford kind of guys"! Oh well, it just made the victory that much sweeter for me!
