Thermostat?

My thermostat come with housing and all. looks like its all made together. was wanting to take it out to do a flush, but can I take out just the thermostat? Its an 05 if that matters.

It come out, just looks like one piece. In the pic below.

Red circle is the lock tabs. Blue arrow is to push spring down so locking tabs clear their locks. No turn the thermostat as indicated with yellow arrow.

Ok, simple enough. Thanks, never looked at it that close last time I changed it.

LOL fist time I replaced mine autozone gave me something totally different and I was like I dont think that is going to fit its too small. sure enough it wasnt the right thermostat. too bad I was at home with the old one off already....
