Just wanted to say thanks to all, all your threads and pictures have been an amazing resource for someone like me.

I just purchased a 04 F250 about a month ago and it was obvious the previous owner didn't have a clue, was running napa filters with green coolant.

Before this I had only worked on smaller gas engines, never something this large or complex.

Just completed

Restore and Restore+ flushes
EGR Delete
Replaced turbo Y pipe
EGT Probe install
Oil Cooler replacement
Updated turbo oil feed and drain lines
Updated standpipe and dummy plugs
Converted to Rotella T6
New oil and fuel filters
Blue spring upgrade
FICM Resolder

Took me about a week working on it a few hours a day.

Was a bit nervous starting her back up but after what seemed to be hundred cranks she is up and running again. Still getting an occasional miss, but seems so much smoother and quieter.
