Cat elc ?

What's the best brand elc. I know there are several brands but I have a cat dealer near where I live. I can get cat elc ec1 coolant fairly easy. Does everyone prefer cat brand over others

As long as it's CAT EC-1 rated it's fine.

They're all good and should have fairly similar formulations to meet the EC-1 spec. I use Chevron Delo cuz its service life is about double most others, although it's not sold everywhere like some others.

Pretty much it goes Rotella Ultra ELC, then Delo ELC, and then all the rest. The Rotella Ultra is formulation that is real different from the rest. If you can find it that's what I would recommend. If you can't anything that meets the EC-1 spec will do fine. Just make sure to get the concentrate.

1,000,000 miles/20,000 hours/8 years - Delo ELC with Delo Extender at 500,000 miles/10,000 hours/4 years
600,000 miles/12,000/6 years - Delo Extender

My Peak Final Charge Global is good for 600k with their extender at 300k. Delo is impressive.

I can't find anywhere around here that sells the elc ec1. I might call and see how much the cat elc is at the dealer. It's about a 30 minute drive to not that bad

Yes I have both! I checked both places and neither carry ec1 rated coolant. I didn't aske if they could order

I could not find EC-1 ELC coolant at any parts stores either... Went to my local CAT store and that is what i'm running
