27 degree delta while towing
On a two hour trip to the Florida keys recently towing a 5000lb trailer my freshly studded truck exhibited a 27 degree delta. I've also seen a 20 degree delta without a load.
The truck has a new oil cooler and an egr solution. It went through the mother of all coolant flushes prior to the mechanical work. I also run a coolant filter. I asked my mechanic, who is a specialist in the 6.0 what he thought of all this and he said it is no big deal. I am not in the least worried. If I start barfing out of the degas I'll let y'all know. |

5000lb trailer in FL should barely work the truck.
What are the actual temps? Jason |

You need to test run for your delta while unloaded. On flat surface.

Mine stuck half open before. Might want to put in a new t-stat if you haven't already. What were the EOT & EOC temps? |
