EGR Delete Kits

I found this EGR delete kit, and was wondering, at almost half the price of say the Sinister kit, why would one not use this kit? Im just asking, so dont blow me up over this.

Hopefully someone can help. I dont want to buy this lower costing one if it will prevent me from doing something else required in the bulletproofing of my 6.0. I had a scare today with the truck not starting, but it ended up just being a bad oil filter. On week 2 of owning my first Ford, I am a religious believer in motorcraft filters for the 6.0

I bought my delete kit from sinister and couldn't be happier. Don't use the onyx head gaskets. Only use ford factory ones. And the. Never look back. Had my delete kit on for over a year now and runs awesome.

Just FYI, that kit has the Black Onyx head gaskets, which Ive heard fail more often than OEM head gaskets. Additionally, I think when i do finish my project I will also include a coolant filter system. Its not that I think Sinister is overpriced, I just wonder why this specific EGR kit is half the price. I appreciate the fact that Sinister offeres a military discount, so Ill probably go with them. From what Ive read on here, they are respected and fair.

They have a very high failure rate. They're thinner than the OEM gasket. Not too long ago, Ken from bullet proof diesel made a thread detailing the differences. Spend the couple hundred bucks extra and get the OEM gaskets.
