whats the longest you've gone with p0611
just wandering cause i've had it for a while thought it had something to do with the tuner at first.

I don't think providing an answer with "how long" is helpful. A P0611 is set if there is a board failure, typically on the power board where the repetitive heating and cooling breaks the soldered connections for the components that amplify the 12volt battery voltage to 48volts for the injectors. Once this happens, the other components have to work "harder" which in electrical components means "hotter." Similarly, a worn-out battery will create excessive heat in the FICM and provide conditions for sequential failure of the step-up voltage for the injectors. Also don't forget that the fuel pump is electrically driven and if fuel pressure falls too low then fuel injectors may "dry-fire" and fail mechanically. Get the FICM repaired or replaced...it is an easily swapped component...and don't forget to check the batteries out (load test OFF of the vehicle and SEPARATELY).

from what i could tell, which is an unsure answer but i rolled on mine while it was in the process of failing which the only clue i had was it was hazing like an injector was dying on cold starts but i went from bout middle of april till a week or two in march so bout a month but id say do yourself a favor and get it fixed asap before you drop injectors

well i don't have the 611 anymore, after eric tuned the ficm i have never seen the voltage go below 46v at anytime. before the flash it would drop to 38v but only untill the injector stopped cycling so the cycling of the injectors was just to much w/o the truck running even with pretty fresh batteries. now it fires and runs perfect and no codes, i had rough starts cold but fixed that with 5-40 and rev-x. i'll keep checking everyweek but this is what i thought was happening. so do yall think the I.H. just made the ficm work to hard or did some people replace it all due to the I.H. program.
